You have to be tough to be a concreter in north Queensland. And you have to be tough to go fishing on a 5.8 meter tide with westerly winds.
On November the 17th and 18th, six lucky patrons along with two staff members from Taylors Hotel in Mackay enjoyed a day out on the water aboard Lone Wolf II with Action Charters.

Angela was the star of the day with two Red Emperor showing up her male colleagues who contributed to the catch with a mixture of grassy Sweetlip and Nannygai.
Being just after the new moon, the very large tidal range did not help and when combined with a southerly breeze, the conditions were far from ideal.
